A gig can use an uploaded setlist, a document on the web, or a setlist created in Gixtra.
Choose a setlist on the gig
Save a new gig first, then open Edit and expand the Setlist group. For a Gixtra setlist, bookers and administrators can:
- type into the search and select a saved setlist; or
- choose New setlist to start an empty list for this gig.
The selected name appears in the group. Gixtra attaches an independent copy immediately, without leaving the gig form. Other gig-detail edits still use the gig form's Save action.
The same group also offers document upload and a link to a document on the web. These are alternatives to the Gixtra running order. If both a gig copy and a document exist, use Change to choose the document or the gig setlist as primary; the other is retained.
Adapt the list for this gig
Choose Adapt setlist for this gig next to the selected name. You can change song order, move songs between sets, remove occurrences or mark songs optional.
The gig copy keeps the saved setlist's name and shows Adapted for this gig. It has no separate title field. Changes affect this gig only, not the library list or another gig's copy.
Save gig setlist saves those changes and returns to the gig show page. For an announced gig, changed setlist content triggers the normal gig-change notification flow. It does not need another gig save. Draft gigs remain silent; unchanged setlist saves do not send a change notification.
Replace or remove a selection
Choose Change to find another saved list, create a new one or remove this gig's copy. Replacing or removing a copy requires confirmation because gig-specific adaptations can be lost. The saved library list and uploaded or linked documents remain intact.
What musicians see
Anyone who can read the gig can download its primary setlist from the gig details. A Gixtra setlist also has a name link for reading and print/PDF options. Musicians do not need to manage the setlist library to use these links.
