Gixtra can turn selected gigs into your own musician invoice. It fills an editable draft with existing gig data; you review the amounts and finalize the invoice to create its PDF.
This is an invoice from the musician to the band. It is not an invoice from the band to a venue or client. Invoice creation is available from Newcomer and during the Free trial.
Set up your invoice details
Open My gig invoices and choose Edit invoice details. Enter your issuer details, address, tax details, VAT settings, bank details and any payment terms. The band needs its legal name and address as the invoice recipient.
Select the gigs
Select the current band and open My gig invoices. Choose one or more gigs, then Create invoice.
Eligible gigs are confirmed (fix), dated today or earlier, and have you recorded as attending. Gigs already on a finalized or paid invoice, or recorded as invoiced or paid outside Gixtra, are not available again. You can reveal older eligible gigs if the one you need is outside the recent list.
Review the draft
Gixtra uses the gig dates and stored fee information to prepare line descriptions and amounts. If accounting has released individual fee or travel-expense suggestions, your draft starts with your own released amounts. Blank suggestions need to be filled in.
Check the recipient, descriptions, amounts and VAT settings. Edit the draft before finalizing, or choose Save draft to return later. You never see another musician's private prepared amounts.
Finalize and download the PDF
Choose Finalize and create PDF. Gixtra assigns the invoice number and date, stores the invoice data and creates a downloadable PDF. Accountants receive the configured invoice notification.
Finalized invoices keep their saved data and PDF when profiles or templates change later. If one is wrong, void it and create a replacement with a new invoice number; the old record remains available.
Follow payment
The band's accountants and administrators can open received invoices under Clearing → Musician invoices, download the PDF and mark an invoice paid after paying it. You see the paid status on your own invoice. Marking paid records the payment; Gixtra does not transfer the money.
If you already invoiced a gig elsewhere, record it as Invoiced outside Gixtra instead of creating another invoice.
