Booker calendar: keep track of all gigs

Use the booker calendar to see every gig in the band, even gigs you are not personally part of.

Bookers often need a different calendar view than musicians.

A musician usually wants to see only their own gigs. A booker often needs an overview of every gig in the band, even if they are not personally playing or working that gig.

That is what the booker calendar is for.

What does the booker calendar show?

The booker calendar contains all gigs in the band.

This is true whether or not the booker is personally involved in the gig.

The booker calendar is especially useful if you want to:

  • keep track of all upcoming gigs in the band
  • see options and confirmed gigs in your calendar
  • coordinate booking, planning, and client communication
  • manage gigs even when you do not play every gig yourself

Where to find the booker calendar

You can find the booker calendar in the same place as the personal calendar sync:

  • at the bottom of the gig list, using the calendar sync link
  • in the user menu, by clicking your avatar icon and choosing Calendar Sync

If you have the right role and plan, you can subscribe to the booker calendar there.

Difference from the personal calendar feed

The personal calendar feed shows only your own gigs.

The booker calendar shows all gigs in the band.

That is the key difference.

If you are a musician, you usually want the personal calendar feed. If you are a booker and need the full band calendar, use the booker calendar.

How often does the booker calendar update?

As with the personal calendar feed, your calendar app decides how often it updates the feed.

If a new gig, change, or cancellation does not appear immediately, wait for your calendar app to refresh the subscribed calendar or check whether your app offers a manual refresh option.

Availability depends on your plan

The booker calendar is available depending on your Gixtra plan. For the exact plan details, see the article about plans and feature availability.
