Gig Schedules and Schedule Templates

Customize the important times for different types of gigs.

A gig schedule is the list of important times for a gig.

Gixtra gives you a default schedule, but you can customize schedules to match the way your band works.

Default schedule

The default schedule may include times such as:

  • Arrival
  • Soundcheck
  • Concert start
  • Concert end

You can use this as-is if it fits your gig.

Customize schedule slots

Bookers can change the schedule slots.

You can:

  • Add schedule slots
  • Remove schedule slots
  • Rename schedule slots

For example, a larger production might need:

  • Crew arrival
  • Band arrival
  • Load-in
  • Soundcheck
  • Doors open
  • Show start
  • Show end
  • Load-out

A smaller trio gig might only need:

  • Arrival
  • Gig start
  • Gig end

Use multiple schedule templates

You can create multiple schedule templates for different types of gigs.

For example:

  • Trio gig
  • Full band gig
  • Festival gig
  • Corporate event
  • Large production

When you create a gig, choose the schedule template that fits the situation. Then fill in the actual times for that gig.

Automatic translation

Schedule slot names can be automatically translated when users use Gixtra in another language.

This helps mixed-language bands keep the same structure without forcing everyone to use the same language.
